Home Office
Give your files a place to come home to. Home offices are havens for distraction, disorganization and time mismanagement. Whether you work at a corner of the dining room table, in the spare bedroom or in your own private office, staying organized can pose one of your biggest challenges.
But I don’t have time right now… With a full schedule and competing priorities, many of us let filing and organizing go and think we'll deal with everything when we "have time." But beware of the clutter trap; it can truly take on a life of its own.
Being organized is the key to managing it all seamlessly. Don’t wait until you have the time—you must make the time. Schedule time once a week for filing all those important documents. When “admin time” comes around, work your way through all the paper on your desk, filing it in its proper folder. Follow this routine and you will never have to ask “when will I get it all done!”
