These hanging files hold more information and have not failed us yet! We bought cheap generic hanging folders saving almost nothing. The folders began to fail if you filled them with more than one folder of papers. But when they failed, they would sort of melt apart leaving a sticky mess on any paperwork in the hanging folder.

The Hanging file folders are very sturdy and easy to use in any filing system. They hold a good deal of paper and stand the test of time.

Using hanging file folders makes any documentation/paperwork easy to store in its designated space--until you decide to extract it to write the information in document/paper to computer or discard and reuse hanging folder space for another subject.

The hanging folders work well. The only problem is if we have a heavy file to put in, the hanging folder will rip.

I WILL ONLY ORDER SMEAD HANGING FILE FOLDERS. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND LAST FOR YEARS. I TRIED OTHER BRANDS IN THE PAST TO TRY TO SAME THE COMPANY SOME MONEY, BUT THE OTHER BRANDS FELL APART & I HAD TO GO BACK WITH THE SMEAD BRAND.

Not only will you NOT find any hanging file folders that are BETTER than Smead Hanging File Folders; you will NOT find any AS GOOD as Smead.
